clicking sound when coming to a stop - exhaust valve?

So when de-accelerating to a stop I hear a one time click sounds like a bunch of coins hitting each other. Sounds like its coming from under the car rather than from the bonnet.

I'm sure its normal but just wondering, could it be the exhaust valve opening and closing? It seems to do it when warm rather than cold.
