M3 exhaust on an e93?

Have a friend with a new M3, he's considering replacement of his stock M3 exhaust with an aftermarket upgrade. Offered to give me his stock exhaust. Aside from having to alter my bumper for the 4 pipe setup, what can I expect in terms of performance change, etc if I put his M3 exhaust on my e93?

Ok thats what a wanted to know. I'll spend the money and buy an exhaust designed for the N54.
