DRL / ANGEL EYE Qs'

ok so i have an 2008 328i with xenon and AE headlight. when the headlight switch is turned to auto, the headlight only comes on when its dark out.

my AE also doesnt seem to be on during daytime and only when the head lights are on.

is there a setting in the dash comp that i need to adjust in order for the AE to say on when i am driving?

read through the manual and did all the steps with the turn signal stalks but still not working.

someone shine some light on this for me

On my E90 328xi, if I turn the head light switch to parking lights only, I get the AE and Orange parking lights only. This is with the DRL turned OFF via the turn signal stalk.
