Lux E90 Question

I got a question for anyone who has installed the Lux 5.1 recently. I installed 1 yesterday. Long story short, the instructions say there are spacers included w the lights and to use those when installing. I didn't receive any spacers. Do I need them? Are they suppose to be in there, or are those instructions out of date and the spacers arnt needed anymore?

the instructions on the lux site are old..theres no spacers needed.
