Back from the dyno: 397whp, 100whp delta.

So I decided to dyno the car where all of my friends go, so that we would know how I stack up.

Car+Mods:
'09 E92 335i 6MT
Procede V4, 11-4 Maps, Boost Setpoint: 15.5 PSI
Macht Schnell 3" Catless Downpipes
CP-E Downpipe-back Catless Exhaust
Homemade DCI

Here are the run conditions:
Dynojet 248C
Temp: 70.27F
30.21 in-HG
Humidity: 20%
Pump Fuel (93 octane)

Run_002: Map 2 (Autotuned to 15.5 PSI, IC 10)
Run_004: Map 0 (Same mods, stock tune)

100 WHP Delta, tune only. I do love owning a turbo car! Dyno videos coming soon!

Nice gains...however that graph doesn't resemble the typical Procede smoothness..? Perhaps heat was an issue considering you don't have an intercooler?

Either way, congrats!

Considering that there might as well have been no fans in front of the car (the fan setup was a joke, just one axial fan), I think that is a reasonable thing to assume. In addition to the baseline, I also got a limp mode dyno (191whp lol, I forgot to turn off DSC before I started moving the rollers), but it also resembles the smoothness of the other runs. Funny how repeatable it was.

That's a pretty high baseline but 100whp difference is all that matters as far as gains are concerned..great numbers and a great looking graph

The "baseline" was with dci and downpipes. Not totally stock.

Also, I wonder if autotune moved more aggressive as the OP's revs raised and that would explain the bump in torque in the mid range?

My baseline with full catless boltons and stock boost was ~262whp so maybe mine read low i guess it depends on how much boost ECU decides to run at the time you're on the dyno

Nice numbers!!!

**Question and I hope this dosen't start another tune wars, why is that the hp is higher than the tq with the procede. I compare this with my car and with the stock dyno he posted!

I need to redyno in colder temps. I bet I could've scratched 440whp in colder weather.

Hi DefactoM6,

If you have the max set for 15.5 psi and it autotuned for 15.5, the conditions may allow for more boost. You should set it a little higher and see if autotuning would push it up or not.

402, but who's counting? I know everyone around here likes STD, so that's how I had it delivered.

Uncorrected I was

And I'd like Meth, but I need to address some traction and power holding issues first.

Couldn't tell you, probably has to do with the kind of timing the car has.

So why did you dump your car then?

Max set is 16...my autotuned boost setpoint was to 15.5.

Wish I did, and I certainly had it set up. After my stupid ass forgot to turn off DSC before I hit the go button on the dyno and laid into the gas, triggering a nice dyno of limp mode (stayed in it for shits and giggles, 191whp, STD...lol), and I spent a while trying to make sure I cleared everything using a laptop that wasn't mine...I just forgot about doing it, since I didn't want to get charged for 2 hours of dyno time.
