Angry carbon fibre front lips and their price

Why are the carbon fibre front lips so expensive?

I mean you can get black line tail light for $200, and I think that's much more complex product than the lips.

Anyone have any answer to this? Any of you carbon fibre experts?

Because real CF is expensive itself.

What I don't understand is why BMW offer them in CF only. I mean, many people - myself included - don't like CF, so why can't we have 'standard plastic' ones in the same material as the bumper itself?

I totally agree with you. I guess there no vendor who makes non carbon fiber replica lips.

Write a letter to Boeing and Airbus and tell them to quit hoggin all the shit.

In the end of 2005 the price of it jumped up over 300% - Its come down off that high now, but its still way up there.
