It is no secret that BMW has created an unbelievably potent engine in its latest 3.0L twin turbo. QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q. What is the TT-35 Module?

A. It is an in-line computer, roughly half the size of a wallet. It works in tandem with your factory ECU to dramatically enhance the performance of the BMW 3.0L twin turbo engine group.

Q. Does it reprogram or permanently change my factor ECU?

A. No, it doesn't reprogram or alter any of the factory ECU settings. It communicates with the ECU externally, leaving every part of your car as stock, as if it rolled off the assembly line.

Q. When the dealer does software updates or reprograms my ECU during scheduled maintenance will it affect the TT-35 Module or vice versa?

A. No, any changes dealers might make to your automobile will not affect the unit or will the unit affect their ability to make changes.

Q. Does it affect the drive-ability of my automobile?

A. The driving characteristics of your car will remain the same, other than a much improved throttle response and an enormous gain of low and mid range thrust, due to a significant gain in torque from the very bottom of the rpm range.

Q. Is the TT-35 Module undetectable to my dealerships scan tool?

A. Yes. The factory diagnostic equipment can’t see the TT-35. Un-installing is simple should you prefer, prior to maintenance.

Q. Can I use any type of gasoline?

A. No, It is absolutely imperative that 91 octane or higher be used every time. The engine will see its best performance with higher octane fuel. Using below 91 octane is dangerous for your engine.

The graphic attached in this post is from PES themselves, that particular engine might have some additional mods I am unaware of.
