Not used mytyres, but had my winter shoes fitted today by event-tyres.

Very happy (they come to you) and I saved £££.

4x Avon Ice Touring ST - £403!!

Hi

I have bought a few sets of tyres from mytyres.co.uk, chosen the tyres and include the fitting at the partner stations, tyres delivered in a week or less depends really, i had to call up to check if the tyres were delivered, so if you're not in a rush then do it. its just the waiting time but you save quite alot comapre to the high street which rips you off to the moon.

Thanks guys.

Not in any rush was just little scepticle about the prices.

Have used event tyres last year, they were quite reasonable pricewise but mytyres.co.uk is the cheapest for the tyres I am after.

Used them 3 times. Once got the tyres delivered to my (previous) regular tyre fitter- that was fine. Second time used their fitting station- who then sub-contracted the fitting to Kwik Fit :-(. Last time used a different fitting station -,no probs whatsoever. Prices generally good and good choice of brands, speed ratings etc.

Used them for the first time this September and was very good. The only problem I had was they split my order for 4 tyres into two orders as they were different sizes and my credit card company rejected it as they saw two internet orders from Germany coming in at once. Once the order was redone the tyres came no problem. Really pleased.

just checked as not as many partners as Blackcircles, seem to have lots (c20) of Asian budget tires before you even get to the likes of Falken452s - I like the idea of the test ratings on tyretest.com and they seem to be based on a few thousand reviews, though how reliable that is, is another matter.
Not sure that it would persuade me to go for the Sunny SN3800 on the rears at only £64 each though???!!

anyone had an Asian budget brand fitted?

Camskill are usually good and I have bought tyres from rarerims before they where pretty cheap. I wouldn't go for anything too budget tbh. 20k+ car on £40 tyres, not really worth it.

I bought 2 tyres from mytyres.co.uk last month. Arrived in about a week, no problems at all.

I also bought the other 2 tyres from tyrexpress.com; they have some really cheap prices on certain things, and they arrived in about 3 days.

I have bought tyres from them a couple of times and they are probably one of europe's biggest online sellers. All tyres are sent from Germany and arrived within a couple of days after the payment had been sorted out.

They weren't the cheapest when I bought my winters, but at least they had stock. Only downside with them is that they sometimes require a UK bank transfer before they are happy to ship the order. Not a big issue if you got the cash, but a pain if you were planning to stick it on a card. If they ask for payment up front, they'll ask you if you want to procede with the order.

I had to do a bank transfer for my winters and I don't know if this was because I had them delivered to my home address. Perhaps they may be more flexible if the tyres are delivered to a garage for fitting?

Anyone else had to do a bank transfer?

No, used plastic both times no problem.

First time was for some Vred Sessantas, came through fine but shortly afterwards there was fraudulent use on my card (one I only use for car stuff so it was the only recent transaction)

2nd time was for winters, no issues at all.

I normally use Camskill too.however, was after some Vreddy wintracs and mytyres were the cheapest and with stock available.
No problems with the transaction and they arrived within a
couple of days-very pleased.
Cost me £40 to have them fitted to a second set of wheels, balanced and then put onto the car.

yep my tyres are o.k, as with most of the other Internet company's. The thing to do is buy the fitting service as otherwise there wont be a cost saving. My local tyre fitters said next time phone us and we will at the least match it. Worth a go?

My best mate from highschool happens to run a chain of London tyre shops who will fit/balance my wheels for £20 all in so I can't complain
