Anyone had a service yet with Procede installed?

Wondering if anyone has slipped one of these by the service guys at BMW or are people taking them off everytime.

My car was in the shop @ my BMW dealer for 4 days, although they were analyzing a CA problem. In fact, the BMW Reg. Service Rep was actually brought in to diagnose the problem. I can't say if they ever opened the hood but they did have a laptop hooked up to the car for a few days, and I never heard a word about it. btw - they never saw any fault codes so the issue wasn't rectified.

CA locked me out  ...my CA key fob was in my work bag in the trunk and the trunk actually closed and locked (which of course it's not supposed to do if the CA key fob is in the trunk). Thank goodness for BMW Assist and their new "Remote Unlock" feature...they sent a signal to unlock my doors via satellite...and it worked...AWESOME!!! Of course, I called BMW Assist, since I couldn't actually get into my car to press the SOS Button (but if I could get inside the car, then I wouldn't have to push the SOS button, since my problem would've been solved!!!). I haven't tested it again, but my CA still tells me sometimes that I have a faulty key fob...even BMW (and the BMW Regional Service Rep) can't figure it out since it never showed any fault codes.

Anyway, FWIW, I had my Xede in and they didn't say a word about (after being in the shop for 4 days); however, they may not have been looking since they were focusing on an electrical problem.

Yes, it remained in; I didn't have time to take it out.

Left the Xede (soon to be PROcede) in the car and dropped my car in for an oil change. My service advisor didn't say a word, either they don't know, they don't care or will just wait.

I just got back from picking my car up from service.

I went for a ride with the tech and asked him some questions. they said the only time they will every say anything about chips, software etc...is if you bring the car in for something like a check engine light.

he said if it is just normal maintenance...then they don't check nor care.

he actually complimented me on my exhaust and how it sounds

I believe that BMW's strategy is not to "care" as much, about mods on the 335i...They built a tuner car, so I think they will let most of the upgrades slide IMO

I wouldn't say it's a tuner car, it just happens to be a turbo

I've had the same issue, it started about 2 weeks ago. I get the yellow key with the slash icon.
