Euro delivery lease question
I have a 335i coupe now on the water after picking it up in january. The question is, I had heard that since I leased the car from BMW financial that they would make one payment on the lease since it is 2 months between pick and re-delivery. Has anyone heard of this or is this something that had to be negotiated. Also this was the reason I thought that the money factor was .0030 higher on a ed car.
Thanks steve92 |

I believe all that you mentioned are part of the ED deal....you could check with BMW Financial, if still in doubt.

Is the destination charge ($695) part of the price (I think called cap cost) that is leased?
I am looking at about $40k price, not including tax, title, lic. What should I be looking at as far as a lease payment with 36mo and 10k mi/yr using whatever BMW's standard mf rate? nevermind, according to BMW's web...with $2500 down on $40k...the est. monthly is $480. |

don't forget to estimate tax
usually at lease inception you pay first month payment, security deposit, bank fee/acquisition fee and tag/title fees. the destination charge is always included in the MSRP of the vehicle. check the lease tax rates in your state. in PA our normal sales tax is 6% but lease tax is 9%. give or take about $20 |

according to an article on edmunds.com i just found, for california, it is the same as sales tax. article and dmv site says 8.25% ...although i thought my local tax was 8.75%...so maybe it is CA 8.25% + local tax. well im just trying to figure ballpark numbers |

still unsure
I called bmw financial yesterday and the woman was unaware of what I was talking about, in regards to bmw making the second payment. I have now made the second payment as it was billed and then drafted. She said that she did not see it in the contract and it sounded like something I should of negotiated with the dealer.
thanks to everyone steve |

yea i have read numerous places that BMW pays for your second payment.... question is, is that "auto paid" by them or do you pay it and then get reimbursed? i see you already sent payment.... but you should get reimbursed or have that applied to 3rd months payment then
