if you buy now the jb3 2.0 pnp version, you will have access to " free " upgrade later to jb4 when it release.

Well first off the search nazis are gonna come after you for this thread but whatevs Ill bite.
1. Is your car a CPO or did you just buy it without an extended warranty? This will have a huge factor in what you buy. 2. If your worried about warranty then my suggestion would be stick to either BMW performance parts or Dinan. MOST dealers cover both of these under warranty. 3. How much do you know about cars? If you need to take your car in for a warranty issue and you have a whole bunch of mods you need to be able to remove them before you take it in or you'll get flagged. 4. I use Dinan stage 3 myself but I hear the JB stuff is awesome and its plug n play so you really can't go wrong with a JB3, Im sure you'll be able to update when JB4 comes out too. 5. What do you want to do with your car? Is it for street use or track use? If street then stick to cosmetics, you'll never need expensive performance parts like a clutch, LSD, or FMIC. If you track it, start with those especially FMIC and LSD. Short shifter kit wouldn't hurt either. 6. If youre gonna get rims dont cheap out on them, IMHO nothing looks dumber than a luxury vehicle with cheap shitty rims, it almost infuriates me when I see them. Fitment wise, don't be afraid to buy M3 fitment, trust me the look once you roll the fenders a little bit won't disappoint. 7. Dont be afraid to buy used off of this forum but make sure you talk to the seller in person and have him take photos of the product with the days date so that you don't get scammed. 8. For all the cheap cosmetic stuff like cf badges, black grille etc. JBspeed.com has all the shit you'll need and his prices are unbeatable. |

I started with a JB+ tune, BT Cable (awaiting arival) with BMS Dual Cone Intakes to satisfy my little speed needs since I bought a CPO. Then I went with some lighting such as MTEC/GP Thunder for my angel eyes, turning lights and fogs. I would also recommend a new grille and side markers since they are so cheap.
FYI, Clear and Smoked side markers are $2.95 +shipping on http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-335.../Side_Markers/ got my clear ones yesterday and installed them today.. You guys can thank me later |

First off, welcome to E90post and congratulations on the new car.
I would just wait. You will be wishing you waited in the long run if you really want to become really serious about engine performance. |

Lux H8 are about 300 shipped and they are plugNplay, thats what im ordering in the next couple weeks. OSS are really nice but they require a tricky install that im not willing to take, as the factory headlights are about $1500 each. I also had umnitza for my 330ci, they were nice, but LUX doesnt require you to crack open the headlight. As far as performance mods go, get the basic bolt ons and a boost gauge before a tune. I would recommend the Procede for many of reasons but its up to you. Just please do the reading on the assortment of tunes before you purchase. Dont get one bc your friend has it or you heard it was good, do you own research and look at the caliber of people/cars running each tune, i think that will lead you in the right direction. The brains(tune) of your car is the most important mod IMO. Congrats on the purchase and again, please do your research on e90 rather than going to companies for info, ofcourse they are gonna tell you to buy their product! Too many of my hard earned dollars and a lot of my time went into changing my mods as I learned more and more on this forum. Knowing if half the battle my friend.

I would personally stick around and read some before you got your heart set on a jb3. Keep in mind, the forum vendors make money by selling you what they carry, which isnt the best tune for your car all the time.

I would hold out on go fast parts a bit longer and keep saving your pennies. Things are finally looking somewhat promising for a single turbo conversion. And I also wouldn't bother with a midpipe or axle back exhaust, unless it's just for sound. The dollar per horsepower ratio is garbage on intakes and exhausts.
