Exclamation Good deserted roads in Orange County?

I'm looking for nice deserted roads in the Irvine area so I can do some good JB4 logging.. maybe some nice straight stretches. Ideas?

My favorite road is near cooks corner, I hit that at least once a month. But be careful though, that road has claimed a few lives, you'll see by all the crosses along the way. DO NOT DRIVE IT WHEN WET!

Here's a pic of the road http://roys.zenfolio.com/p709603894/h4d12c1e#h4d12c1e

Also GMR is very fun but not close to Irvine.

thanks for the suggestions.. I'm always looking for a good scenic road driving.

any places that are deserted enough that they're essentially a dragstrip, such as near abandoned warehouses or something like that?

irvine - go straight on jeffrey toward portola. theres straight with just a Little bit of curve, and make left on portola toward northwood high school. That place is abandoned. not many cars, no cops. thats the place where they took the video for SC's gone wild - link :
. Its perfect for testing your jb4.

Check out Irvine Blvd., between Sand Canyon and Alton. I did my brake pad bedding-in there. Never seen a cop, and it's always pretty empty and wide.

Just north of OC.

Ferrero Pkwy in Walnut CA.

It's like a mile long straight away. But go very late at night.
