What does this symbol on my iDrive mean?

It's a phone with an X on it, but my bluetooth and everything works fine, calls come through and i can make calls. It just came on today randomly. What does it mean? (sorry for large image)

Looks like a missed call symbol but I'm not sure if that is what it means.

No its not, i havent had a missed call, and when i first started my car in the morning it was there.

Sorry to say this but YES it is a missed call. Go to your call log and then get out of it and it will go away.

That only shows up whenever I have a missed call in the car... So unless BMW changed it for the OP's car, and only the OP's car, this is the missed call alert... Check your log and exit it like Kevin said, it should go away

Yes, there was a call that somehow you did not answer while your phone was paired in the car.

Just go to your received calls list in your iDrive and that icon will clear itself up.

I like that icon better than the missed call icon in my '07, which is just a picture of a small cell phone next to the signal level indicator.

100% its a missed call. Go to your phone menu and select received calls. Once you go into that menu it will clear the missed call icon.

Ive already done that. Tried restarting the phone as well, nothing has worked. Ive gotten a missed call in the past and that symbol has never showed up. It randomly came up yesterday. I went to my call log for received and missed and nothing changed so i doubt its a missed call.

How many phones are paired in your system? Is this a Combox-equipped 3-Series?
