BMW Assist / Bluetooth problem

I have a 2007 328i.

I started my car this morning and an SOS warning light came on. I opened up the little SOS switch and noticed the light was disabled as well.

I pressed the SOS button to check whether or not it was actually working. And about a minute later, a BMW Assist operator comes over my speakers.

The strange thing is... it didn't mute my radio, and I had to turn my radio down.

I asked her if there was a problem and she said that everything checked out okay on her end. I explained to her what was happening and she suggested that I have it looked at.

I've also noticed that my Bluetooth no longer works either as well as the voice activation button on my steering wheel.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I would suspect the TCU has a problem.

You should take this to the dealer and since it involves a safety item (your ACN might no longer work), they should try and look at this as soon as possible.

I have the exact same problem in my car, although it is intermittent. Did you get this corrected?
