2009 vs 2007 radiator thermostat
Guys, I just dropped my car off at the dealership, for the HPFP, and I got a 335XI coupe loaner. It, like my '07 sedan, does not have an oil cooler, but It has the updated temp guage with 250 degrees in the middle. My car runs hot, and with the same climate, and same long highway commute to work, I always get up to 245 degrees daily. This loaner however, is much much slower to warm up, and it seems to stay at 210 degrees. Since the car does not have an oil cooler, I'm assuming that BMW has a lower temp radiator thermostat on these, and also a different fan switch, to maintain that lower temp. I was wondering if this is true, and if we can acheiver the same results by installing the '09 OEM thermostat/fan switch?

Don't know...my 07/07 335i Couple has the 250 in the middle. It runs 230-250F when it is warmer...like 75F out and up.

No, its definitely not my coolant. On the list of features on the sticker, it lists: "Additional electrical supply". I think the car might have a larger battery, I'll check to confirm. This would make sense, as the fan runs a lot more than mine, to maintain 205-210 degrees.
