Nobody!? There's a 10 page thread about people fighting over snow tires vs x-drive, but no one wants to weigh in on this?

I have Blizzaks and like them. Never used Pirellis though. I did sacrifice handling with the WS-70s, but I have crazy snow traction. They are a little louder as well.
Truth be told, I'd rather keep the allseasons on cause I'm a drifter. If you cant handle sliding then I do reccoment WS-70's with DTC fully on. |

The runflat Blizzaks are probably the LM25RFT which is a more performance oriented tire than the WS70 but still has better snow and ice traction than the Pirelli. Unless you are in a very light snow area, I'd stick with the Blizzak.

Blizzaks
I just put the LM25 runflats on my 328i. They have made a world of difference. I had a set of Continentals all seasons on the car before. They are quiet on a clear road and have great traction. I'm not much of a fan of driving in the snow. Now, I kind of look forward to it.

Sorry next time I'll try and write War and Peace just to appease you and your criteria for "first post worthiness".
What can I say, I like my Nokian tires.
