335i Sedan with Coupe grills
Hi All,
I was just wondering, can we replace 335i sedan grills with 335i coupe grills? If this can be done, will it something a BMW dealer can do or will some third party mechanic will do it? Has anyone done this before? Thanks |

yes you can get the coupe's grille onto the sedan
all you have to do is buy a new coupe bumper and new coupe hood, two coupe front 1/4 panel (one left and one right), get a bodyshop to fit/mold it onto your car, and that's it, simple as that

thanks guys.. infact i do use that search a lot..I find searching more easy than to type long things sometimes, some things slip off the eye..anyways.. I am excited, cuz I am gonna get a 335i sedan soon.. I had high hopes on coupe grills getting into a sedan in m3..Even though it's happening, I don't think I will be able to afford it. sadly my pop won't pay for my bimmer.. Hence was trying to discover a cheap alternative of getting those grills in 335i
I was amazed with how people modded their bimmers.. so, the question I asked was something which popped in my head.. I went to chicago autoshow today and I found that the sedan grills don't look that bad as they look in pictures.. I started liking them and soon I will get to love them |

Yeah, the 3 sedan's grilles looks a lot like the 6's (beautiful car). While the 3 coupe's look like the 5 series(not so hot), in my oppinion.

depending on what you like, you can black out the grilles, including the bonnet trim... this makes them less noriceable than teh chrome, particularly on a dark color.

If you bake the e92 grilles you can take them apart and reshape them so that they'll fit the e90 perfectly.
