LED Interior Lighting Kit

so i've installed everything from e92-lighting. the kit looks great, nice clean bright white.

however i'm stuck on the last part. this all came in one package. i assume the (2) 12 LED panels are for each dome light.

however i can't figure out what these two plastic tubes are (no led on them), and these two other little metal nubs are for?! anyone know?

Those are converters that you install in place of your existing bulbs. They provide the 12V power to the LED banks. The bridging connectors are on the led banks and the power converters. You will ude either one or the other depending on the bulb socket type at the location you are going to install the LED's.

ohhh, so i first put in the small 4 led bulb's (round shape) into the center and front dome, they worked fine, then i saw these panel ones, put them in...they didnt work...then i put the 4 led bulbs back in, those didnt work, then i put in the stock dome bulbs, those didnt work.

could it be that i blew a fuse because i hooked the panel straight to the dome bulb insert?

damn i think im slow, how do these go together? the 12 led panel is a female plug, but the other two tubes and two metal nubs all have male connectors.

Sounds like it.

Use the one that fits the bulb type where you are installing the LED's. They supplied both types in the kit.

My car used the ones on the far right. Put that into bulb slot then clip it into the LED panel. The middle tube lights are not used.

There could be a polarity issue here with the LED's, try reversing the converter.

okay i'll try that. i messed around with it last night a little, after the 4 led bulb worked, but now no bulbs work, not even the oem one, and the fuse isn't blown. ill give it some more finese. i saw on a thread someone messed with it, flipping it, wiggling it in before it worked after 3 hours. i just hope it doesnt take that long lol.

ill report back my findings

i got it to work! i guess i didnt need those adapters, i had to bent the connective wires outward a bit, so they would both touch the metal connectors on the OEM input, previously it would only be touching one metal connector.

all lights auto dim and look great!!
thanks for everyones help!

heres a picture of the license plate lights. these are the "error free" ones on e92 lighting. $39 i believe.

matches perfectly with their interior lighting kit. that goes for about $90. i'll get shots of the interior tonight.

i was afraid they would be too damn bright and a nuisance on the road, but these are perfect brightness/color for my liking.

Can you also post some shots of the interior with the LEDs on? Thanks!
What do you think of the interior brightness of these LEDs? Perfect, too much, too less?

Mixel,

mine doesn't, but i noticed a few of my lights did that when the very thin wire connectors on the bulb weren't making full contact.

i bet yours may not be 100% touching, you'll need to bend them outward and snug them in tight. I bet the movement from the visor is causing the bulb inside to move, therefore making the connection go in and out. mine did that on a few that i was installing, just had to bend those wires a bit.

shai, i'll post some tonight. i thought the interior kit was perfect, brightness and color wise. my friend bought another interior light kit, i dont know which one, but just my preference, his was SUPPPER bright, kind of an eye sore when sitting shotty and turning on the center dome light.

i feel the two small back seat footwell lights, and the little private lights on each side of each dome light weren't as bright, but the others (trunk/door/front footwell, and domes) are nice and bright. standby for pictures

Just installed E92-lighting interior led kit, my visor's light flicker to when i move it. My trunk led bulb doesn't stay in place, keeps falling out from the socket. How do i fix this? Do i bend the connectors closer together?

Thank you sir
I'll probably pick up one of these kits before the week ends (provided he has them in stock! ). I've been wanting to do this for a while but just never got around to it. Glad to hear you like yours.

Shai,

here are pictures from my iphone 4, the color and brightness are actually pretty darn close to what i'm seeing in person. i had a few people sit in the car with me for a late night haggen daaz run and it really lit up the cabin of the car, a lot of people loved the color. one person commented how bright the dome was, but then again, when youre staring straight at 12 leds, its gonna be bright. i love them so far, as well as the auto dimming OEM feature

here you go:

The whip

The lights

Thanks for the info. Just rec'd my kit from E92 lighting along with the M-tec Ver.3 Angel eyes and Mtec fogs. I had the int. kit from bimnian and it was horrible. The LED's would flicker and then go out all together. JLevi was great and realized these kits were flawed. I only installed the map lights and took them out 15 mins later when I realized they were not working properly. JLevi did the right thing and refunded my money on the kit.
