Late Jan-Feb orders

Ordered my car on 1/28, no production date yet.

Anyone else order around this date? It would be cool to have a thread keeping tabs on our cars progression through the delivery process.

I'm taking delivery on the west coast (Seattle, WA). From what I gather on the forms it should be here end of April early May.

I ordered around 1/21 for week 5 production, and my status just updated to my car being transported to the port, bound for the west coast.

I'm hoping to make the Maresk Wind that departs on 2/11, but I'm thinking the Don Quijote on 2/23 is more likely. Would've loved to have gotten 6nr, but it wasn't available for my production yet.

How long did it take from the date you ordered to get a production date?

I got a production number the next day, but I knew my production week the day I ordered. The dealer must've altered an existing slot.

I placed my order on 1/24, production finished on 2/3, transported to port on 2/4 and waiting at port for ship since 2/5. I'm hoping for the ELEKTRA on 2/9 arriving 2/23.

9 days after order and still no confirmed production date yet. Is that normal?

What is your CA saying? I'd be tearing my hair out with no news in 9 days.

My car has been stuck being "transported to the port of exit" for 3 days now... my hopes of it making the Maersk Wind on 2/11 are dwindling.

Well looks like I didn't make the Elektra.

Next ship doesn't leave till 2/16.

At least you only have a 1 week gap between ships.

My car just got to the port, and if I miss mine on 2/11, the next one doesn't leave until 2/26!

I ordered my IS on 1/13 and it finished production on 2/4. Right now it's at the port awaiting shipping vessel. Does anyone know how long it takes to actually get onto a ship or it all depends? Either way I'm super excited knowing that my car is only half way across the globe

It depends... the Maersk Wind on 2/11 and the Don Quijote on 2/26 seem to be the next ships out of Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme. I hope our cars (both at the port) end up on the Wind, arriving on 3/6

I ordered my car from the dealer on 2/2 and it is scheduled to be completed 02/14...It is currently in the paint shop.

Real question is will I have the BMW app (6NR)

I'm sure he's never heard that one before.

But yes, so far so good. Fair deal, didn't give me a hard time in getting it done, obviously very knowledgeable -- it's pretty much like dealing with any other forum member here. I'm glad that it wasn't the typical sales experience ("how much do you want to pay per month?" "what can I do to get you in this car today?" sort of schtick)... And the alternative is getting ignored (hello Sterling BMW) or disrespected (hi McKenna!) for no good reason.

Anyway, I'll save the review for after I get my car.

I am in Seattle and ordered my 335d on 1/27 from BMW of Seattle. My production is slated for week 8. If you ordered 6NR, you must be week 10 or later
