its worth it. I'd also recommend CAR but Evo is definitely my favorite. The magazines you named in your OP are shit. I don't understand how people can read them. All the articles do is state numbers. The british mags do a better job of explaining how it drives in my opinion. I like TopGear magazine too.

Out of the domestic rags, Road & Track is far and away my favorite. Peter Egan and contributions by Mario Andretti alone are worth it. Next favorite would have to be Motor Trend Classic...but it's quarterly and about $12 an issue

There have been a million threads like this so I'm just gonna quote a past post. I would change it to have C&D above R&T. C&D has improve significantly.

Favorite domestic auto journalist: Ezra Dyer. Man is brilliant. Do yourself a favor and google all of his articles.

I used to think this, but I haven't seen a good issue in a while. Favorite part of it is the jokes section, though. But I actually prefer C&D.

As for the UK magazines, the photos are beautiful and the issues dense, but they're just too damn expensive.

Peter Egan is the only reason that I buy R&T.

I like Excellence, and Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car (its all old junk, but its a good magazine if you like that kind of stuff).

Evo.

The british rags are more expensive...however its well worth it.

You get so much more for your money. The current issue of TopGear magazine that I am reading is 266 pages. With several amazing articles. The pictures alone make it worth it...and the free 2011 calendar, I wouldve payed $10 for it without the magazine.

I got 14 issues of Automobile for $10. It might be rubbish but for that price I can use it for toilet paper if I don't like it.

Top Gear mag sucks imo. They have some cool photography but the writing isn't as serious, which can be a good thing for some people.

Anything but motor trend. ANYTHING.

Bimmer Magazine is nice, but obviously BMW-specific

Eurotuner is okay but too many tacky modded VWs

Car and Driver is my favorite all-around car magazine (not BMW or Euro, or Modded car specific).
