as above its not bad but i wonder if anyone has had/replaced this. i think it needs doing as its connected to the turbo, wouldnt want that going!!

Well known issue with the 35D engines. Get it replaced.

Yes there are a few threads on here about this. My car had it too.

Have you warranty, they will replace under that. Other than that its a £200 job approx.

As said, fairy cheap to replace / done under warranty.

I think it's the return pipe, not the feed pipe. Using a flash light, you will see the red pipe covered in oil. Seal has gone or something.

no its not the red one ive had that done. if you look at the pics in the "335d increased fuel consumption" thread its the metal pipe with the fabric covering to the left of the oil filler cap. i think it goes to the smaller turbo whereas the red pipe goes to the larger one. sorry i cant do the pics! another thing there are quite a few pipes in that area with a braided fabric cover and mine are disintegrating i presume its the heat

when I had problems with mine ( LONG STORY) I was handed a bag of braided vaccuum pipes sayin this was the cause of the low power which I now interpretate as guilt / admission for effin my car up which is why I dont trust the b'stards

had H+C in maidstone look at the leak its the oil feed to the small turbo and runs down to the block, appears to ne an expensive job and there are 2 other similar pipes about £30 each i imagine its the heat from the turbo causing it the prob is that with the engine cover in place you cant see if its leaking, it has to be done because if it let go it would destroy the turbo and possibly the engine. it take about 5 minutes to get the cover off but might be 5 minutes well spent to check it.
