Let's talk bluetooth headsets

I know there was a recent thread about this but I couldn't find it so here is a new one. I have been using jawbone products lately and I have to say, I am disappointed. The features are great, but the sound quality sucks. My ERA met an untimely death tonight after several frustrating weeks of, "what? I can't hear you..."

So, now I'm using the new Bose headset, and it has far better sound quality than the Jawbone.

The downside is the price, but I don't care how much it costs if it works as advertised.

What are you using? Any similar experiences?

I have never been a BT guy being that in the Army we can't walk around with them in our ears in uniform. Maybe I should try it out though. Then again I don't talk on the phone much

There was a thread about this not too long ago. I personally think they're all homo and would never use one but I've heard good things about Bose from the 3 people I know who use them.

I find people that use BT headsets aren't half as important as they think they are

agreed, with bluetooth integrated in your car, I really don't see the need/desire to have an earpiece.

but agreed with above, from what I've heard bose has surpassed jaw

Another vote for their all homo. I rather use speaker or wired in for a phone call.

Also, if you ever step out of your vehicle and continue to use one, I hope you are immediately kicked in the balls.

+ 100000

I've thought about getting one for driving, but I've never even linked my car to my phone, or my phone to car, whatever. I'm not too techno savy. If I bluetooth link my phone to car do people talk to me through my cars speakers? That seems more than annoying if I'm driving with windows down.

LOL

I have my bluetooth hooked up to my car. Leave it on all the time on my BB. I go in the car, it connects. Phone call comes in and I'll roll up the windows if they are down and I'm on the highway. Otherwise its OK. Also, it has the option on the phone to disconnect and switch to just the phone.

I would never buy a headset though...

Headset seems like overkill if I can just connect to my car and talk. I'm just trying to not have to hold my phone and drive. Problem solved. Thanks.

All comments aside, we have a hands free law in the city of Chicago, and I drive several cars that don't have built in bluetooth. Plus, after my M, holding a phone pisses me off. And, I'm at least 1/4 as important as I think I am
