Proceed lease problems?
What do you guys think about using the Proceed on leased 335s...I was told by vishnu that there was no way the dealer could tell it was ever there if you remove the system prior to servicing...I would def love to pick up the system, but not if I end up with problems down the line...
![]() PS Has anyone gone ahead and installed the system on their leased car??? |

My plan is to buy the car though at the end of the lease.... It's gonna cost me about $500 more than if I had purchased it with financing at the beginning. I figure the $500 is "insurance" in case this car turns out to be a frequent flier to the shop. Also... never know... maybe the M3 will be what I want by then. There will always be a market for the used Procede. Not like it gets "worn". I actually talked to my salesman about installing it (he's a friend). He didn't know why I wouldn't get the Procede. Especially since it can be unistalled easily before service.

It's a piggy back mod that hooks up to the car's ECU and offers roughly a +50-60bhp increase. Does it void warranty? Do a ![]() ![]()

PROcede is a computer that intercepts the signals sent by various captors to the engine CPU in such a way that the engine is tuned for maximum torque and HP.
My 335 was PROceded yesterday, and I can tell you it is the best mod ever on any of my cars. Only thing I could compare it to is when I bought a 375 hp Vantage engine from the Aston-Martin former racing Dept. Manager to replace my US spec. 280 hp V8. That transformed the car, but cost me $30K and it took like a couple of months. PROcede took ten minutes to install and changed my 279 RWHP 335 into a 333 RWHP one, and even more importantly, increased the torque from 298 to 391 (at the wheel), all that for $1,300 only. Call Shiv today and reserve yours today. One warning though: Boost is addictive! ![]() |

I will personally report people who discuss modding their leased cars, so please save yourself a lot of grief (and the rest of us a lot of time), by not posting the same question over and over.

HOW IS HE GONNA REPORT YOU????
He has no personal info on you and at most knows what state you are in. This guy is obviously a deusche and has no idea what he is talking about. But if you are worried about your lease or warranty, you should not be modding your car at all. Its like when playing poker, you can't have a value for money if you want to play higher no limit poker, like 300-600 blinds, if your worried about the lease, stick with the 1-2 LIMIT games and stay STOCK......... |
