Question usconverters cable

did somebody using this cable? bought cos shiv said this is a cable that not drops any comunication with procede

when i received it there was a small disc, but i didnt used it as saw some tutorial in here i also didnt used that i just pluged into usb cable and looks like win7 found drivers by itself (see attachment) so maybe its okay no need to install anything? ready to connect to v5 how other did? did u installed like it shows in here

can you connect to the Procede? If you still have not installed it than you will never find the answer to your question.

well i can install cable as in device manager it sais com 3 so only question is it enough will try connect v5 when install just want to be sure that this cable+extension is working dont want to go over the glow box again

It appears that it is working based on your picture. You won't know for absolute certainty until you try to connect to your Procede though.

Yeah, when you do your install just hook it up to the procede and check it before you run the cable. You can actually run the cable without taking the dme tray out too. Although, the dme itself still has to be removed.

Cuz his engine will blow if it's wrong! Didn't you read that guy's post that it happened to a couple of weeks ago? Blew chunks of his engine all over his garage... Just like that guy who blew chunks of his engine on the track a few weeks ago running the Procede!

USB to SERIAL is very common, but the thing is that it seems from your pictures that your cable is working, but noone can say for sure that you won't have any problems with disconnections etc. until you try.
And you also need to be sure you are running high performance, never D/C on USB and so on (win7), there is threads about it. Plug your laptop into the wall.

335I - It seems good, go try it out and let us know what you think about your shiny tune instead of all the worries.

i will for sure, but maybe its not necessary to plyg into a wall a laptop maybe i can try and see if its working also on batteries based (maybe i will succeed on that ) will let you know later when install is going to be made
