GPS Time Sync . . .
Just a quick question . . .
Do the current year 3 series have the internal car's clock synced with the GPS system? Or does the clock have to be manually set? Reason I ask is this, I currently have a 2006 325xi, and of course this is not a feature. My 05 Acura TL has this feature. This is nice especially for long drives across time zones and the car automatically updates the internal clock, along with ETA, as the car enters new time zones. These little electronic additions do, in my opinion, make the difference in the GPS systems between the two cars (that and the fact the Acura system allows you to search for POIs by name, number or category rather than just category like the BMW). Just thought I would ask . . . |
