She's here!

After spending the last 5 months in limbo I finally got the call. My black sapphire 320d Sport I ordered back in November arrived at my dealer on Friday.

After tracking my shipment over the past month on W&W’s website it’s arrived with only 14 clicks on the clock. To my surprise I was advised that all 2007 3 series models now come standard with rear parking sensors, electric seats, anti-dazzle mirror, and the comfort access keyless entry system none of which I had ordered. Happys days!

Now I have to wait a week for the car to be registered, tinted and detailed. I’ll post further pictures after I take delivery.

Mine is exactly the same except for the colour. I'm bit annoyed the dealer didn't tell me about the changes as I would've waited a few months before buying, Oh Well.

Great Looking car!

Thanks guys. I didn't know about the changes either and you can imagine my suprise when I found out about the 2007 standard inclusions. Very happy indeed.

Was also slightly concerned about the colour combo I chose ie black on black with brushed aluminium but after seeing it the flesh, it looks fantastic.

Will take some better quality shots after I take delivery next weekend.

How much did you pay for your 320d? Does it has a pointed downward tail pipe?

Comfort access is BMW language for Keyless engine start, basically you can get in your car and drive it off by just by having your key fob in you pocket.

I agree, comfort access rocks my world too!!

beautiful car. Congratulations . You've gone for sport look, I agree that blacklines add so much to the car. For extra sportiness the gloss black grille instantly transforms the front of the car. Awesome

Nice car!!! I love that low profile alloy. I noticed the diesel has an ugly downward facing tail pipe. Can you show the picture? Did you have it chromed or cut?

As you can see from the attached picture, the diesel has an akward looks tail pipe. I have not get my car yet and I need to do something about it once I got the car.

I wonder why your electric seat is not charged extra. However if yours is a 320d executive than partial electric seat is now standard (according to the Mar07 pricelist). Note that full electric seat costs you $2750 (non-exec) and $1750 (executive).

Also according to the same pricelist, Comfort Access is now standard for all 3 sedan, while PDC-rear and Anti-dazzle interior mirror are now standard for all 320i/d sedan (323i/325i/335i has this option as standard in Jan07 pricelist). Total of these 3 standard options is around $2500

What about standard loading through-integrated storage compartment and standard retractable arm rest. They both adds another $1200. That kicked the total to $3700.

Sorry guys, yes I meant "partial" electric seats which IMO is all you really need. Through loading and the arm rest were also added bonuses I didn't order. All in all I'm very very happy with it.

Ed-320d the downward facing tail pipe isn't a concern it's actually barely noticeable on my car and doesn't look anywhere near as bad as the one in your attached image. The exhaust is shiney as is.

Any other questions let me know.
