Remove swirls, scratches and water spots using Porter Cable 7424XP Polisher (videos)

I just got a PC 7424XP and having never done any detailing, I went on to youtube looking for videos on how to properly use it. I found these 3 part videos from autogeek.net with very detailed instructions, and thought I'd share. I'm sorry if this is a re-post.

Posting links since you can watch them on HD directly from youtube.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

The only thing I noticed was that they don't spread the polish first with the buffer off and at a lower speed, before going all out on speed 5. I think it's probably safer for someone who hasn't done it before.

Feel free to comment on their technique

speed 5 is a waste of time....put it on 6 to polish. I wax with 4-5, and all compounding and polishing is done on 6
