What ie everyone doing in the LAST 2 WEEKS of the wait?

Hey BIMMER Lover waiting for their cars
This is my first BMW. So I have no idea what you guys do to prepare yourself before you take delivery of your car.I hope a lot of us may be busy in the last 2 weeks making plans and making a room in their life for the new baby bimmer. So I am starting a new thread to share and learn . 2 More weeks for me

I went out and bought some mud flaps so that I would have them to put on immediately after taking delivery. I also purchased an M3 Power hat. I also tried to order painted side reflectors from Bimmian, but they are not yet in stock.

Have you seen pics of the E92 with the mudflaps? I had considered them until I saw an AW E92 that had them painted to match and I wasn't impressed. They probably would look better on the Sapphire though.

I'm starting to look for what mods I want to buy. I picked up the aero kit already and I'm looking into some OEM pedals and maybe some custom floormats.

Plus, I'm doing a lot of this:

I am just passing the hours one at a time reading these forums. I also have 2 weeks to delivery (PCD - 3/29) and can not wait!!! It really is killing me.

Last night, my wife asked if I was reading the sales brochure againnnnn...... and I told her "Yep". Then she picked it up, and quizzed me from things in the back. I have to say, I did great!
She really thought it was funny when she asked about the breakdown of the MPGs per 3 series model and I answered: "It is 'TBD' in the brochure, but prior to 3/5 the sticker was 19/29 and now I thought they were coming in with either 19/30 or 20/29".

It was not until I got the drag coefficient for the coupe (.30) and sedan (.31) correct that she said I needed help..... Why would she say that?

I'm really trying NOT to get excited... I've got an Alpine White due to arrive April 1. I've got the deposit on it, it's all mine, BUT with as hot as the car is I am expecting to get swooped by someone.

We'll see. So I am nervous, but I am also putting my RX-8 up or sale...

Couldn't wait for production to start, then tracked the boat across the ocean. Since they've held up the cabrio's and I'm working next weekend, I've entered a state of peaceful calm. I know my car is on US soil and I will have it soon enough. Thinking how glad I am that I am getting one of the first cabrio's and will have it all summer; don't have to wait for some June delivery.
Cleaning out the old 330 this weekend so I'll be ready when the call does come; I think I still have the "stuff" I cleaned out of my 323. I should probably just throw it all away and start accumulating again.
Thinking about having a Bombay Sapphire Dirty Martini with bleu cheese stuffed olives to celebrate the weekend.

Last two weeks... Steve, that poor bastard has a full month plus to wait. I'd be snorting Ajax!

But I guess with a firm date and PCD to look forward to, it's probably cool. No more surprises or stress!

I have only seen the picture in the accessory catalog, but I really don't think they will look bad. Since I have ordered Sapphire Black they will not stand out. I have put mudflaps on every car I have owned in the last 25 years. I live in SE PA and in my area they go CRAZY with cinders. The smallest accumulation in snow, and the local municipality blankets the roads with cinders. Not to be undone in the summer, they tar and chip quite a few roads EVERY year. Since I lease, I'm not going to spring for Clear bra, but I do care about the condition and appearance of my cars. So IMHO, the mudflaps are a must.

I have mud flaps on the E91. I can post pics if you like. They look good on the wagon - don't know if I'd put them on the sedan or not. But if I did I certainly wouldn't paint them!
