HELP Bmw is refusing to fix my turbos ( wg rattle ) because of dp's

I took the dp's off when taking it to service but they said that they've seen a cat delete code stored, but how the hell can dp's which are same pipes just with out the cats, which are there only for emissions void my warranty for Turbos ? and it's not the shop but the BMW didn't give an approve as far as I know, who should I speak to ? You think I can have this worked out ?

you should just deny deny deny, play dumb, tell them to prove you had dps, a code don't prove anything, i've gotten catalyst codes on several vehicles that had the cats still intact

My service manager told me if I do that they might send the guy out and then he will see more than dp's, that the fmic was installed because of the plastic cut, and other stuff ?

No point in arguing, clear all your codes with the DPs off and go to a different dealer, done

Try a different dealer. If that fails, get the work done in an indy shop.

usually their computers are not connect unless they flag it and void your warranty even if they do that it takes about 2 months to process so you will be fine.
ALso they can not void your warranty for FMIC since the car comes with one and it makes the car more efficient and can never ruin the car.

By that argument, then DPs shouldnt either since the car comes with DPs, and by getting catless ones it helps the car run more efficient. Same with exhaust, intake...you get the point

No that makes no sense! That would be like saying that since the car comes with turbos, that upgraded ones wouldn't void the warranty either.

It happens in less than an hour once reported.

If the dealer your at went through PUMA and transmitted the the cars data to BMW, you are probably hosed. If not, another dealer might help you.
