well my 2008 335i is ready for some tuning

i have no lcue on what to do ...although i made my mind and im going with a jb4 ....what are maps?? ive read they have a map 4, 5, 6 sort of level of tuning? i dont really understand the whole "map" concept...

all i plan on doing with the car is cat delete, cold air intake and tune..so what map should i go with , if that makes any sence ...

wheres the best place to purchase a jb4 from ...sorry for all these questions guys .. new to this....

Judging by your other thread about cats, sounds like you need to do a lot of searching and education about the car itself. You don't want to mess with an engine without knowing exactly what you are doing to it. Take your time with the research, all the questions you are asking have been answered hundreds of times here.

It would behoove you to do a bit more research before being certain on what tune is best for your needs

ok got the whole map thng ...

so heres the deal...downpipes cat delete, cold air intake, and the jb4 tuner with

"Map 2: 14.5psi (suggested for bolt on mods with 93 octane, close to JB3 map 7).'

(lol i copied and paste from site ) does that sound like a good choice

From the sounds of it you probably aren't experienced enough to drive up to the limit without seriously hurting yourself. In other words, the limit is alot higher than you or I would need on normal street conditions and you should never have to go fast enough that you'd require the speed de-limiter. Tracking/closed course only.

If you have the Sport package with 18" Rims then you have the limiter at 155mph. If not, 130 mph is the max.
