E90 m3 spoiler install (e92-lighting)

I've been searching and searching but nothing I've found has answered my question.

I received my spoiler today and expecting to install it tomorrow. The spoiler has tape on it already. What I'm wondering is what exactly am I supposed to do with the primer adhesive that comes with it? Am I supposed to clean the spot with the Alcohol Prep Pad then rub the spot with the adhesive? Also do I apply the adhesive to the spoiler as well? Or the tape?

I understand It's a simple install but I just don't want to mess any paint up or anything. Thanks!

It should be adhesive primer, not the other way around. It is for taking off wax or any other type of film on your car that could interfere with the tape sticking to the trunk's surface. My M3 spoiler has been on for 3 1/2 yr. with no issues. Even thru a few power washings too. Mark a center line on the trunk and spoiler first to get it lined up right, a pencil works fine. Should sit back about an 1/8 inch from the edge. Some go a little further back. GL And take pix or it never happened.

Ok so just put that adhesive on the trunk, rub it in, and put the spoiler on?

Haha I'm doing it later today so pics will be up ASAP.

NO NO NO, the 3M tape goes on the bottom of the spoiler. The cleaner/ primer goes on the trunk first to Clean it so the tape will stick well.
