Syron Race One + UHP Tires *REVIEW*

I will be updating this thread when the tires are on and I've got a few hours with em but I just wanted to post up a review.

**UPDATE 1**
Tires have been on for one day. Maybe 50 ish miles. These front, Nitto Invos rear both brand new and I've got a lot of slop from the deep tread. They could stand to benefit greatly from a shave. As far as road comfort go, not bad for a 30 AR tire. I'd give comfort a 6.5/10. Road noise they are a bit loud, 4.5/10.

I purchased 2x Syron 255/30-19 tires for $107.50 EACH plus $70.18 for shipping via Fedex Home (delivered today, Saturday) from California.

I made my purchase via phone and credit card. They had them in the mail THAT day.

I just wanted to give them a shot because they are stupid cheap for a 30 aspect ratio tire and I know this will interest a lot of you guys just looking for daily driver rubbers. The next step tire in that size was the Kuhmo Ecsta @ $181.44 PLUS SHIPPING from Discount Wheel Warehouse.

Here are some pictures. I'm running Nitto Invo's in the rear.

According to their website, they offer:
245/30/19 (PRACTICALLY UNHEARD OF!)
255/30/19 - $107.50 on eBay
265/30/19 - $109.75 on eBay

Performance comparison

Here are some pictures:

I can assure you, inside of 6 months, these tires will have hit 10,000+ miles and gone through the ringer...

Maybe you misunderstood what I meant; I will extensively be testing these over a short period of time, the wear they would normally see in a year or more...

Nothing more...

im intersted to see how these work out. Im a doubter right now, theres a reason higher end tires are the price they are.
But im very interested to see how these work out for you. Thats a great price

I have serious doubts as to their performance. My interest is as a spirited, daily driven tire. I'd never take them to the track...

Regardless, I will report back toward the end of the week.

The biggest concern I would have is the wet/dry braking.

Personally, I picked up my Nexen 3000's for 550 brand new and am happy with that, but am constantly looking for a value buy that may come up.

Also, I had the Kumho Ecsta's before the Nexen's and they sucked major.

I think I'm going to pick up a 235/265 set for the Miro STP-3 I'm getting tomorrow.

Congrats on the Miro's!

If you're going with these Syron's, I'd get the 245/30 they sell for the front.
