MT procede V5 troubles???
I tried searching and didn't really find any answers to my question...
Is anyone with a manual transmission, preferably an '07, running the V5 and having any problems? Do any of the V5 maps have autotuning yet? Thanks, and hopefully this will have some info for others as well. Jeff |

There are plenty of 2007's with V5 running.
There are autotune maps available as well. On the latest beta are they disabled (3-30 and some others prior). 12-17 was the last stable FW and Map with autotuning. |

I have a 07 6MT as well... The latest beta maps are great, except for cruise kicking off every now and then, and no auto tune just yet. The longer start is supposedly to allow oil to circulate through the oil pump/engine a tad longer before starting.

I have an '07 6MT and and running V5 just fine. I have the normal "issues" that are being sorted out with the 3-30 DIC maps buts they are still beta so I am not complaining. I like how the DIC maps run generally speaking, however I am sure they will be much more refined once the bugs are worked out.

Enrita, the reason I am asking is because I am running a still unlocked V4 unit and do not want to waste the vin to just try it out. If things don't get better for the V5, I'll just sell it and bUy an AP. And as for the other problems you guys are talking about, I don't want to deal with those either. That's why I asked if there were problems, because I don't want to be a guinea pig. I don't want to use a map or firmware until all the little issues are resolved.
So....thank you guys for answering my question. It looks like I'll be sticking to the V4 maps and firmware for now. Jeff |

07 MT here. I had a misfire issue on 3-30. Then I changed the plugs and it now runs great with no issues at all. With that resolved, 3-30 are the strongest and smoothest maps/ firmware I have used in the last year and I have tried every one.

Same with me for a 2008 MT. Cruise is a PIA... I use it all the time so I don't lose my license.

I do have to add to this that I rarely use cruise control since most of my driving is on back roads so I would not know if there is a problem in this area. I will have to do some testing.
