Questions! Detailing with a Clear Bra
Hey everyone
![]() I'm going to be doing a self detail on my car at the beginning of this coming week and I'm reallllyyyyy excited ![]() I've been searching online and through forums and I'm either getting mixed messages or not getting any answers at all for some questions I have. I'm scared to start doing anything to my car until I'm sure that some things are ok. If some of these are answered somewhere on this site, sorry for the repetition, but I couldn't find it although I've searched and read countless threads/posts. 1. Sadly, I have not treated my car with any waxing time in 2 years (blame my job). My car is pretty much "naked". Is it safe clay bar my car when it's this "naked"? 2. Is it safe to polish my car when the car is this "naked"? I will be polishing by hand (please refer to question 4). 3. I have a clear bra (full hood, front bumper, full fenders, mirrors, and head lights). Am I allowed to clay bar the actual clear bra? It's by Venture Shield if that matters. 4. Am I allowed to HAND polish my car after I clay bar it? (I will not be polishing areas with a clear bra) Everyone is using a machine thingy to polish their car, but unfortunately I don't have one. If I am allowed to polish by hand, circle motion or side to side? Fast or slow? 5. Can I wax my clear bra. I will be using Lusso Oro Premium Carnauba Wax if that plays a factor. I've been using Plexus on it, but I want the clear bra to be just as kept as the rest of the car. Thanks in advance! (Geez ... it's like an essay...) |
