I know it's depends on elevation and etc,but in general. Max psi,0-60;1/4 time and mods you've got!!! Much appreciate your answers!!! Last edited by bmwm3redblack; 05-15-2011 at 01:34 PM.. |

Also will vary with mods. If you are tune only with 93 oct, expect to see roughly 13-15 psi.

With autotuning on your car will be putting out the correct amount of boost for the current situation. With the Cobb, it will run the preset settings for that specific map. Boost will go up and down while autotuned, so yes, at times you may boost higher with cobb. I beleive Cobb stage 1 will only boost to 16 psi, you can get your JB4 up to 17-18 psi safely with the correct mods, meth, and race gas. But don't go messing with map settings if you do not know what you are doing, you could potentially damage something.

Im at sea level more or less, map 1 peaked at 16psi with consistant reading of 13.5-14psi on 94 octane and K&N drop in. I find Map 1 is very close to Map 2.
On my experience, Map 1 is just as fast without feel of being rear-ended with WOT, comparing to Map 2. Map 2 is good for drifting i find. |

Daily driving on Map 5 on a 70/30 93/E85 mix, I have seen between 11 and 14 psi. Map 5 is a great map for daily driving and I switch to map 2 when I head to the track. I'm going to try and hit the strip in the next few weeks and I'm going to run some racegas and give map 7 a whirl.
