wheel color problem

I got blk rims deep dish with chrome lip but i just noticed today that lil bit of the blk paint came off the rim,,, its like about an inch actually. Does this happen sometimes on painted wheels. Are they pretty easy to paint since they are just jet blk or should i send them back. Its only been 2 months.. Please comment thanks.

Not much luck huh? IF it were me, not seeing it however, I would.... If the paint around the area has a lip, if you will, it will probably peel some more. If you don't want to go through sending them back you could..... Carefully put a light bead of super glue around the peeled spot, hopefully will stop further loss. Get a little canister tube of small brush touch up and cover exposed area. OR, if it were me and it is a small spot, get a flippin black Sharpie and put several layers of that. But that's me.

I had blk rims with polished lip on my old e46 2k4...and loved them.... but YES they did chip...and i wasnt happy about it....esp. since i paid a decent price for them... it wasnt worth sending them back...so what i did was touch it up with the blk paint i purchased for my car incase of any scratches... luckily the paint was the same color and u couldnt tell unless you knew where to look and up up close....

so... i dont know how bad yours is... but if you got them in your area i would swing by the shop if not atleast call them and let them know that it is peeling..... since it may continue... GL
