Help! Red battery icon display
The red battery icon is on display, car turns on fine but I cant turn steering wheel, help?

power steering dead maybe... idk...lol i'd just take it to the dealer's

Wow you e90 guys really don't know much about cars. Lol Everyones right about "new" bmw drivers. Your belt probably ripped and is no longer powering the steering pump. That also means the alternator won't be charging things like the battery

Well I found out belt came off
 how it happen no idea but my car is in BK I have to call service center in bay ridge life quality tomorrow morning. |

my car got picked up around 830am about 8miles away from bmw life quality..hopefully i get it back today..bmw roadside was pretty good at gettin my info and location of the car and towing it

man i call my insurance i had to pay up front all the fees so im like eff that..i have AAA and i call them up..since i have basic membership i had only 3 miles for towing then every mile was 4.50 and the wait was 1hr, it was like 130 am so im like eff this i locked my car and left it in BK ..this morning i called hassel and they gave me the bmw roadside..i call them at 730 by 830 the tow truck was in BK hooking up my car...

Well the service advisor is Mark, he called me said alternator is damage it was loose damage the belt..possible internal engine damage ..

mark at hassle is cool. though he will rape you on the price if you're not under warranty. i just took my car from them for a steering wheel lock failure. cost me $5k. got lucky because mark said water was getting into the trunk, so i called geico and reported it as flood damage, and it was covered.

Well I dont live in brooklyn thats where bmw roadside took my car nearest service center..i was working when car got towed... SA called right before 4pm to notify me about damage and possible damages ,car wont be ready til further notice . I still have warranty
