Bms dci questions???
Hey guys I'm looking at buying the Bms intake system for my 335i. I just was wondering what your guys thoughts of this intake system before I go ahead and pull the trigger on them? Thanks

It will cause your intake temps to rise up to 150+ if you are running it hard which will pull timing then cause you to go slower. Mr. 5 intake is far superior. My dci caused my IAT's to get up as high as 200 and now that I made a Mr. 5 intake they never get higher then 90. It won't do you any good to suck more air if it is all hot air. Just what I experienced.

The Mr.5 intake can be made for less than the cost of dual cones which you will probably end up doing anyways, once you feel how hot the dci's get and run a log.

I have done a lot of testing also, what did you find? DCI are crap. How much boost were you running when you did your "testing"

I am sorry but your facts are 100% flawed. Show me where you got 90F on a stock intercooler, tune, and Mr.5 intake. That is a rediculous claim. OP, the DCI will do a good job at lowering your WGDC. The CAIs like STETT have proven to give the same WGDC with lower IATs. It is the better choice. |

At 17 posts, you feel the need to attack me? An internet jockey talks about phantom facts online. A valuable member posts hard non-disputable data to help the other members. I have spent a lot of my own time writing on this forum to help other members. I am sorry you feel the need to attack data without providing anything as a rebuttle.

Stay stock until you are tuned. Intake benefits are negligible at best when running 8 psi.

Hmm I can drop my tranny, change the clutch and flywheel, swap axles, change differential, install methanol kits, test nozzle orientation, fabricate who knows how much, and test countless parts to forward the community and I am clueless. Maybe you need to re-examine your obviously made up facts and determine who really has the problem.
