i have an 06 325i. no CA or Idrive. but on the steering wheel and center console there is the phone button. now.. does this mean i have bluetooth, or is it just there to taunt me. i tried paring my phone with it but it doesnt seem to work. this is what brought me up to this question in the first place. btw i have a motorola krzr k1m. am i doing somthing wrong? how do i activate it? or do i just plain dont have bluetooth..

well, since you got 20 views with no answers, i'll be nice... all E90/E92's have the phone buttons... whether you do or dont have BT depends on your car configuration. BT comes with the premium package or as a standalone option. If you have either of these, then you have BT... else Not.

Press the MENU button on your console. If you see an option called PHONE there, you have BT, else NOT.

If you tried pairing your phone - meaning the menu functions were there to do that, then you have bluetooth. It could be a compatibility issue with your phone, or it could just be learning curve.

If you suspect the latter, describe the process you're using and we can probably help.
