Is this a Canadian car, or was it imported from the states?
The dials indicate that this was an American car brought into Canada, but just wanted to confirm. |

I am not sure, but would not a e90 323i have to be at least a 2008? If so, I think two years newer would explain a 323i selling for more than a 330. Also 08 would have factory warranty, and I know in 08 they added/changed some stuff. Unless of course, if there is a 06/07 323 and that is what you are comparing?

I am comparing newer model year 323s to this. I think that many here will agree with me that a 2006, non-warranty 330i with good maintenance history is at least worth as much as a 2008 323 with zero mileage and full warranty. Most 323s don't even have sport suspension and 17" rims.

2 years and factory warranty...that is worth a lot to peopleand piece-of-mind. Remember, not everyone cares how fast the car goes. Most people care about # of k';s on the car, year, warranty. Most people who buy bmw do not mod, do not really care about going fast - and if they did, they would go 335 or m3. That said, this 330 is a very nice car. Modding a 323? Hehe.
Keep in mind also that this an XI, so anyone needing AWD wouldn't even sniff at a 323i. Anyway, I'd agree that most people in the "real world" would pick up the newer 323. We should do a poll here. A fully loaded 2006 330Xi like this beauty or a 2008 323i with 16" rims, no sport suspension, and full warranty. If you add better wheels and springs on the 323, you're looking at several grand more than this 330. |

FYI: 99% of the population would not know a 323,328 or 335 were any different. As for cosmetic mods - no difference between 323,328 or 335. I don't think it would be several grand....I got my m3 reps w tires for 1500 - 18 inch, new. springs (which i dont have or want) are what $300 bucks.. still under 2gs. My wifes a4 is awd, i used to have an audi prior to my bmw..dont miss the awd at all. Some might though, you are right. [/QUOTE] Last edited by furtado_4real; 06-26-2011 at 11:20 PM.. |
