Anyone starting to look forward to winter yet?

Was driving home from work last night and was thinking how enjoyable the 335i was to drive in winter with the Snowprox on, was a great feeling to be passing many FWD/RWD cars when most people think BMW's just don't work in the snow!

Not to mention the black MV3's are a nice change from the 313m's.

Anyone else looking forward to a blast in the snow?!

I love summer a million times more than winter

Cold, dull, dark evenings, slippy roads, traction control flashing ALL the time, desperate for dry days yet handling no where near as sharp on the winters.

Not for me

Lived in Cyprus for a while and often used to crave for some cold British weather - and I hate the feckin cold!

Winter??? Apart from a few nice days back in the dim and distant March/April, it never went away; leastways not up here
Mind you, today's really lovely, so perhaps there's hope yet.

Bit off topic, but this will be my first winter with the E92, I know I am going to have to get some Winter Tyres but is it better to get another set of cheapish alloys and just put the winter tyres on them?

Why is it "risking".Shitters don't have to be unsafe.

Time to start the winter tyre threads?

In all seriousness. I love the summer but my skin condition reacts pretty badly to the sun. It is always much better in Winter. So from that point of view I prefer the winter months...

On the flip side. Spending the entire light of the day in an office, it being dark when I get there and dark when I leave. That stinks. So I think I'd still rather the sun..

I had a Mondeo estate last year, it made most BMW's & Merc's look silly in all that snow, mine wouldn't even get off the drive.

Winter is overrated.

The only advantage I can think of is that people don't go out as much, so things are less crowded.

Side impact
The Mondeo comes equipped with thoracic and head curtain airbags. These worked well in protecting the driver and the head curtain would also provide protection to rear passengers
That will do for me.
