Maybe everyone realizes that if this is a V5, it costs $150 from Vishnu to get the vin unlock on this to use on another car. This technically makes your offer more than a new one lol.
Just as a side note, I sold my 2 month old one for the N55 for about $550. Unfortunately Vin Locks have made the prices of these things drop. Last edited by Q4P; 06-15-2011 at 08:35 AM.. Reason: More info added. |

yes it is, if you have a v5. "pro" or enthusiast it's vin locked.
i know because i have one. and because the vishnu website is clear on it... if you dont believe us you can easily check this yourself by enabeling debug word 1 and 2... on the procede user software or "Pde reader," if you look under those values you will be able to see it is vin locked to your car... the reason no one has jumped on this is becuase your unit is at least $300 over what they are going for "used and vin locked" ... Even (say you down graded to v4 or had v4) and it was VIN unlocked you would be looking at, at least $100.00 less for a used unit bottom line is, if you installed your procede v5 for even one second it is locked to your car. since you said you used it for a month, it is vin locked. |

if you mean you paid the extra $150 and shipped it back to them to unlock AGAIN, then your right, other wise your aren't.... and while you bought yours unlocked from shiv, it then became locked, after install... but okay, whatever. GLWS. Your welcome. for this bump as well ps sorry for posting on ur FS ad, but i feel you might be confused, I will stay out now |
