When you go home tonight - hug your wife/kids/parents
today at work a coworker passed away suddenly. she was in her late 40's... and apparently overnight out of no reason what so ever her lungs collapsed. they rushed her to the hospital and not 5 minutes ago they declared her brain dead. Just goes to show you that sometimes, for no reasons predetermined that we know if, its just your time to go when the man upstairs comes a knocking.
so to everyone on e90post i say this - hug your family, and tell them you love them. Because you honestly never know what tomorrow holds. I guess you dont really think about mortality until it really hits you and you see just how precious, and how much we take for granted, life really is |

Everyone you know, someday, will die.
Do You Realize? Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face Do You Realize - we're floating in space - Do You Realize - that happiness makes you cry Do You Realize - that everyone you know someday will die And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know You realize that life goes fast It's hard to make the good things last You realize the sun doesn't go down It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round Do You Realize - Oh - Oh - Oh Do You Realize - that everyone you know Someday will die - And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know You realize that life goes fast It's hard to make the good things last You realize the sun doesn't go down It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face Do You Realize -Wayne Coyne, The Flaming Lips Keep thinking about death; let it invigorate your life, every day. |

Beautiful poem. Oh man that must have been an insane experience for you huh Juggs? I pulled over to help this man who was hit by a truck. It was really crazy because I didnt know if he was gonna make it or not. It was like staring death straight in the face. |

I'm one of the older members on here - 44 ish. I hate to preach so don't take it as such but when you start to see some of your buddies from your teens and twenties drop off, it really hits you. Makes you look at life differently.
I got an email about two weeks ago. The dude was 46. We used to tear around London on hopped up sportsbikes in the 80s. Fatal heart attack. Another 'hellion' and veteran of our 140mph motorway runs to Scratchwood is a paraplegic after a car accident last year. He is 47. I have a customer. She is in her 40s. He husband keeled over two weeks before Christmas. He was 45. Fatal heart attack. No warning. Take care of yourselves young'uns.

Sorry to hear this.
My cousin died in his sleep just 3 or 4 years ago. It seems like just yesterday. He was only in his early 40s. He left behind a now 16 year old son, and at the time 1 or 2 year old son. The young one is have a very hard time still. The 16 year old seems to be adjusting well as time goes on. It's sad, and we all miss him. |
