Something is probably not connected right and you have a boost leak.

Had this happen with my TiAL when I first installed it. The top of the BOV was not aligned with the vacuum line. Due to this, the car would never go into boost and drove around like a suttering pig. Recheck your BOV where it attaches to the vacuum line.

Easiest way to check for boost leaks is to turn the car on and listen for any hissing sounds coming from the BOV or the area surrounding it. Even better is to have someone slightly rev the car for you and then you should be able to hear if it is really leaking.

You definitely did something wrong with the installation, go over it from start to finish and see if you missed/ screwed up any steps. Good luck!

Oh BTW, whoever told you that you wont hear the BOV sound until the car is warm should not be allowed to work on vehicles. As long as their is enough boost pressure, it doesn't matter if the car has just been started after sitting for a week, you will hear the BOV release air.

I have a COBB AP and my data log is looking funny... what is a normal MAF reading for our cars?

I cant help but think i messed something up...

First off all, your car doesn't have a MAF sensor, your probably talking about the TMAP sensor. There's a big difference between the two, unless you have the N55 engine. Now back to the main topic, did you check the two nipples that you connect the vacuum lines to? Did you mess with the center bolt on the bov? I never had any problems with my synapse bov, but when I first got it the two nipples were so loose, barely holding on. Make sure those suckers are nice and tight.
