As far as I know the rims on her car need to be the heavier ones that support runflats else you can't use them.

Runflat tyres are not to be used on cars that do not come with runflat systems. Firstly, the wheels used are special "EH2" wheels for runflat tyres. Basically they have a little lip along the edge to also help support the tyre when being driven on flat. Runflat tyre on non-EH2 wheel won't work effectively as a runflat combination.
Also I think that runflat systems are required to have some type of tyre pressure monitoring so it can inform you of a loss of pressure. Basically the way I see it - don't use the tyres on your sisters car. |

as long as u just use them as tyres and not for their runflat properties as I'm sure she would have jack and spare wheel

I just want to use them as a normal tyre so i don't have to waste them or probably sell them for $1.5 each.
