this is wired to the aux input. just a wire that runs to the armrest.
like I mentioned, the plastic piece can be bought for the iphone 4.
iPhone 4 currently fits, but for perfect fitment I recommend buying the plastic piece.

Will this setup work in my E92 coupe if I only have an AUX-in and no USB in the arm rest?
