So all I would need to do is get it unlocked by Vishnu, and it should work? I am interested, I just want to get my facts straight.

It will work in your car right now as V4. There is a 13.5 psi map, 14.5 psi map, and the valet map. Plus all of the standard v4 map features. IE boost gauge, afm gauge, dtc button map switching. You only need to get the unlock if you want to upgrade to V5 and use the newly developed beta maps. For the DIC enhancements Shiv made.
