Help me pick some wheels

So I still don't have a set of wheels and I'm having a hard time liking the way a set of wheels look for longer then a week.

I'll see a nice set, think it's SICK for a week and then my buzz will die off and I'll end up liking something else. I have a feeling I may end up becoming a wheel whore.

My top choice was the Miro 111, but I've waited too damn long and still can't find them so I'm looking to move on now. The Linea Corse LC818 are similar but also out of stock and the V710's I've seen too many times and they just don't move me the way that they used to.

Now having said that... some wheels I looked into were Work t1s, a couple of the 360 forged 5 spoke wheels, and the iconz 830 and 880z.

So it seems like having exhausted my options for a meshed wheel I'm now looking into patterns with a lip and maybe an inner mesh pattern. I've looked around for HOURS and HOURS and nothing is really standing out to me. I don't mind wheels with a lip, but I don't want a black face to the wheel and it seems like a polished lip with a silver face looks a bit off on a black car... I dno, guys HELP ME OUT, show me some pics, point me to some threads.. ANYTHING.

I JUST WANT SOME FRIGGEN WHEELS ASAP

Bbs lms if you want lip

Advan rs or te37 gtr face if you want concave

Getting low-end wheels will make you into a wheel whore much quicker cause they will either damage quickly or you will want some strong lightweight wheels...my .02

I'm not too worried about 360 forged or iconz bending or being damaged too quickly as they are my 2nd and 3rd picks... I wouldn't put them on the low end... The Miro's may be another story but I just love the design.

The wheels you mentioned are nice in their own respect, but they do nothing for me and I wouldn't really want them on my car.

Work Gnosis HS-202(new for 2011) black spokes with bronze dish.

I was going to pick them up but 8+ week wait time was too long as well as being heavy.

I love the BBS CH, going to be my next set of wheels along with some Varrstoen 2.2.2.

Try Varrstoen, the 2.2.2 TE37 reps only weigh in at around 26 lbs each.

Best luck to you.

Thanks for your input!
Most of the wheels I looked into have a long wait period as well and I'm only driving the car until the end of september so I really don't want to buy wheels to only use for a month haha.

Maybe I should just buy a nice set of winter wheels? LOL

I'm sure it'd be cool to have a few sets of forged/expensive rims but I'd rather have one nice set and a few reps and oem's so I could swap them out every other day.

LOL look more cool doing it like that bahahah

Haha, yeah next summer I'm just going to get one nice set and a bunch of reps and throw on used tires and run them for a week or two then sell them off LOL, try out everything see what I like.

Too bad this summers almost over for me and I have no wheels yet

Yeah, I'm a big fan of concave which is why I was looking into Miro 111 and the LC818's since they are two of the most concave options around, too bad none of them ever have any stock

I personally think the BBS LM's look the nicest on the e92... im probably gonna get a set of LM reps in the winter for next summer. I was thinking of the Varrstoen 8.5 front and 10.5 rear ones.

for sure 360 and iconz are strong, but not lightweight...I think they both weigh near 30lbs per wheel

how about these: most concave, lightweight, strong and very good price

The LM's do have a nice classy look, but it's not what I was going for, maybe I will get a set of reps to just throw on for a while next summer.

Yeah the weight isn't very attractive on those also the wait times make it pointless.... wish I never wasted so much time waiting on those Miro's this summer, they pretty much held up my whole car project and now I still don't have them.

Not sure about the VS8's but the Vertinis are definitely nice. Sent a PM to a vendor about those, but never ended up getting any responses ... guess I'll try again!

Not a big fan of the spoke patterns, don't think they suit the e92 very well.

go check their site and see pics for yourself, they look mean!

its either you're going to be like everyone else and get VB3, V710, Miros, BBS LMs, CSL wannabe looking rims, or be original and get something unique

360 forged makes amazing looking wheels, so does Forged1, ADV.1, HRE, and Iforged

I dont understand how people put cheap rims on an expensive car. It's like people who put HRE's on a civic. Like what were you thinking lol?

Seen the website, the wheels look nice on a colour M car... not feeling them on a black non-M e92 at all. Not looking at the usual vmr or bbs reps... there's only 1 other guy around here I seen running the Miro 111 and I just love those wheels, even if they cost triple what they do or half what they do, I would get them simply because I love the design.
