Damn can those things even be categorized as bikes? hahaha

Most of them are like scooters or vespas haha.

Anyways to your question is350 is very quick from the dig. But I believe after their trap speed which is around 103-104 they start to loose steam up to compared to the 335i.

But 0-60 times are very comparable to a stock 335i.

Uh, that video said 0-100km/h which is approximately 0-62 miles per hour. So, are they saying the IS350 does 0-60 in less than 4.5 seconds? Stock? I wouldn't bet on that. My friend who is an SCCA National Champion, test drives cars for a living. The Lexus stated numbers for the IS350 are 0-60 in 5.3s. He told me that he consistently tested it at ~5.2s (and tests by magazines such as Car and Driver are about the same). BMWs stated numbers are 5.3s manual and 5.5s auto for the 335i, but real-world results are showing ~4.8s for both trannies.

I have not seen any real world test of an IS350 by a reputable source that comes even close to that 4.54s number in the video. And FWIW, I personally don't rely on YouTube as a definitive source of information or test data. Just because someone flashed that number on screen doesn't make it accurate. And if you're really worried about it, then just PROcede your car or get that Turbo Tuner.

One car mag got the IS350 to run 0-60 in 4.9 seconds.
But numerous other tests of the car have it in the 5.1-5.2 second range.

It's a quick car to be sure.
Stock for stock, in the 1/4 mile run it would only be about 1-1.5 car lengths behind the 335i
And it's a good looking car too.
It's the soft suspension, the lack of being able to disengage the stability control completely, and the lack of modding that turns many away enthusiasts away from the car.

The IS isn't that quick...it's probably low to mid 5's to 60 which is still very impressive. I have a friend with and IS350 who was talking alot of smack about wanting to race my M3...one ride in the M3 and he dropped all that crap.

DING, DING, DING! We have a winner. Using Youtube as a definitive source of information is right up there with using a picture of a Gtech screen as proof that your vehicle is making 0-60 and 1/4 runs that no one else on the planet has been able to duplicate.

LOL, this is killing me, gee the IS350 even beat a motorcycle with a very high horsepower to weight ratio. Last time I check motorcycle usually beat car in 0 to 60.

The one I espically like was the dirt bike which took 31 second to get to 100 Kmph, you can tell the person was driving around bends in the road and was scare to push it faster.

The best part is they must have used the video record time to measure the time to speed. So I wonder if they assume number of frames per sec and got them wrong.

I thought my warning was straight forward enough.

Crazy video. Seems a little quick. I am not sure if they are just reviewing the video and calculating with it a stop watch, but I doubt they used a real accelerometer.
