Was talking with another S14.net member and brought up the fact that we haven't had
an S14.net meet in Edgewater, NJ in a few years. Figured that now that the weather
is getting nice, it would be a great opportunity to get the cars out and have a good
time in a relaxed atmosphere. Edgewater was my first meet that I had the chance to
attend, and was able to meet a few of the S14.net members. This location has been
a common spot for car clubs and car/bike enthusiasts to meet. Thursday nights can
sometimes reach in the 250 car counts.

Date is still tenative, but we're thinking Saturday July 23rd. Let us know what you
think.

We are planning to start off at the Starbucks parking lot located on 457 River Road,
Edgewater, NJ. Come by around 9 AM. This will give some time for the stragglers to
get there. Grab a coffee, check out the cars, and chat a bit. Around 12-12:30, we will
head down the road to Houlihan's located at 1200 Harbor Boulevard, Weehawken, NJ
07086. This is about a 10 min drive. There is plenty of parking to safely accommodate
the cars. Enjoy some food and drinks and stay as long as you want.

Being car enthusiasts, we are gonna extend it to other car enthusiasts. This means
you can have a friend or family member tag along in another car. Yep, this is gonna be
an informal get together. No, this is not a "serious" car show. Spread the word to
other forums if you like. The only thing that we ask is that people are considerate of
each other and the locations we use.

Starbucks is located in the shopping center right off of River Road. Get there early
to grab some good spots.

Houlihan's is located right next to the harbor facing Harbor Blvd. As you can see, there
is plenty of parking located on the upper portion of the map.

the next one. I will post on some of the other forums, but you are welcome to spread

I ask only because the Edgewater meets are generally at night so I figured maybe it was a typo?

We're doing this at 9AM till around noon. Then we take a drive to Houlihan's
and get some drinks and food. The night ones are fine once in a while, but
you can barely see the cars.

That's usually the evening ones when you get a lot of cars and the cops have
to be there to babysit everyone. The police presence is not bad on Saturday
mornings.

Last time I went; no ticket unless u were amongst the ricers. I parked with some porsches and other bimmers and no trouble. Maybe it helped we weren't doing burnouts or anything stupid too??

not really. dont take the light exit and theres no cops.

plus they only run 2 or 3 cars max over the time ive been there, which i means that unless you do some shit that deserves it, they tend to be good to ya.

I drive around there everyday, never get pulled over( I have never had a front plate and my cars are always tinted). Just follow the speed limit and you"ll be fine.

Exactly. People are mixing this up with the usual Thursday night crowd. As long as no

well i usually attend the GC meets in NY but not making it out there tonight cuz getting caught up until 7pm...

i am in... hopefully a bunch of cars show up this way its worth it! see you there!

me as well as a few bimmers park by the donation bins (near the back of the parking lot between barnes & noble / starbucks). why? much less unwanted attention there. swing by around 10PM!
